Nelson Cricket runs a regular school holiday programme held at the Saxton Indoor Centre. The programme is open to both male and female players, in school years 5 to 10.  It is aimed at allowing youngsters the opportunity to participate in a fun-based learning environment. All activities are holistic and game-based, and focus on developing athletic movement. The programme is overseen by a qualified and experienced coach and assisted by local developing coaches.
