Cricket Saturday 9th Feb

Given the current state of emergency in our region and heavy smoke in a lot of areas Nelson Cricket will be reviewing regularly up until Saturday morning the merit of cricket being played on Saturday the 9^th February.

Of utmost importance is the safety of players, officials and parents/supporters.  Although there is no official health warning for the region excepting person affected by predisposed conditions (see link).

A massive thank you to the hundreds of volunteers who are fighting this fire and the people who are supporting these people and allowing them to do their job.
