Cricket is one of the largest summer sporting codes, by participation in the region and Nelson Cricket Association (NCA) is proudly shaping the game of cricket to be enjoyable, successful and available to everyone in our community.

NCA now have an amazing opportunity for a passionate, driven and collaborative individual to join their team, work with the Board and lead the implementation of the NCA strategy.

 

This key leadership role will take responsibility for operational and financial management, marketing and sponsorship, as well as reporting and communication. With a strong knowledge of national cricket and development programme structures you’ll also be responsible for the cricket competitions and programme structures, coaching programmes and umpires management and development.

 

With a diverse and rewarding mix of leadership, operational delivery and community engagement ideally, you’ll bring to the role a proven leadership and management experience and a strong understanding of how sports organisations work within the community. A natural organiser with a collaborative, down to earth approach you’ll have the ability to get alongside people and inspire them to be the best that they can be. With an upbeat, forward-thinking approach and plenty of enthusiasm you’re willing to get involved wherever it’s needed.
