Cricket, but not as you know it.
Yeah! Girls sessions are girls-only for 10–17 year olds, and all about giving it a go. Sessions include fast-paced activities and games focused on having fun and being active with your friends.
You don’t need to have played cricket before, or need any equipment – our friendly Activators will teach you everything you need to know! We have many of our current Nelson Nyxons Rep side working as Activators to ensure the girls are receiving the best advice possible from aspirational young Women.
Have fun with your friends, develop your skills and stay fit and healthy.
Sessions are held once a week, and are a maximum of 60 minutes.

This year Nelson Cricket will be launching our Yeah! Girls Tamariki Programme for school girls in years 1 – 4. Yeah! Girls Tamariki is designed to engage girls in fun fast paced games that will help them learn the skills required to play cricket one day. Or just continue with Yeah! Girls throughout their school years & through college. All Hubs will be held during school times.
If your school is interested in hosting a programme to be run by one of our lovely Activators, please contact Dustin.
